About the Role
Ntiyiso is seeking a strategic and experienced PR & Website Senior Analyst to join our Marketing team. This role is responsible for driving thought leadership, public relations, media engagement, website management and digital performance reporting across the Ntiyiso Consulting Group and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will position Ntiyiso and its executives as trusted voices in public sector financial sustainability, municipal revenue management and organisational transformation. This role combines strategic communications, public relations, content development, website oversight, analytics reporting and team leadership to strengthen brand visibility, thought leadership and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage thought leadership content strategies for Group executives and subsidiary leadership teams.
- Research, write, edit and secure placement of opinion pieces, articles, case studies, white papers and executive thought leadership content.
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, industry bodies and key stakeholders.
- Identify and secure media, speaking, panel discussion and conference opportunities for executives and subject matter experts.
- Plan and coordinate webinars, knowledge-sharing initiatives and thought leadership campaigns.
- Develop and implement public relations strategies aligned with Group and subsidiary business objectives.
- Draft and manage press releases, media statements, newsletters, speeches and corporate communications.
- Monitor media coverage, public sentiment and brand reputation, providing recommendations and reporting on performance.
- Support crisis communication activities and reputation management initiatives.
- Develop and facilitate media training programmes for executives and senior consultants.
- Manage website content, updates and optimisation to ensure alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
- Oversee website performance, user experience, SEO initiatives and digital content publishing schedules.
- Manage relationships with web development, media and public relations service providers.
- Track and report on thought leadership, public relations and website performance using analytics and performance dashboards.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, insights and recommendations for management.
- Supervise, coach and quality-assure the work of junior team members, interns and external agencies.
- Support broader Group marketing campaigns, events and communications initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Humanities or a related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years' experience in public relations, communications, thought leadership, corporate communications or digital marketing.
- Proven experience managing media relations, content development and corporate communications programmes.
- Experience managing website content, digital platforms and performance reporting.
- Experience supervising junior team members, freelancers or external agencies will be advantageous.
- Strong copywriting, editing and content development skills.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, website content management and digital marketing best practices.
- Experience using digital analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics and similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meltwater, SurveyMonkey, Tableau or similar platforms will be advantageous.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, presentation and project management skills.
