Clover is currently recruiting for a Artisan: Millwright (UHT). The successful candidate need to have atleast 4 years experience working in a UHT factory. This exciting opportunity is based at the Clover Clayville branch.
- Matric
- Millwright Trade tested
- National Diploma in mechanical or electrical Engineering will be advantageous
- 5 Years maintenance experience in FMCG environment, including equipment listed above.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Understanding of technical drawings and technical guides.
- Must be able to think analytically and should have problem solving skills.
- Must be able to function under pressure.
- Must be willing to work over time, weekends and public holidays when required.
- Must be willing to work shifts and standby.
- Very good understanding of UHT principles, quality requirements and processing
- Strong electrical/instrumentation background (60/40 split electrical/mechanical)
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain any mechanical and electrical equipment. PLC programming not required
- The Millwright will be required to work shifts and be available for major maintenance activities over weekends when planned
- Work according to Clover’s SHE procedures.
- Actively seeking ways to improve utility performance of site.
- Perform HAZOP and RCM analysis for all equipment ensuring optimal maintenance on equipment.
- Do fault finding on failures and below par plant performance.
- Do fault finding and take corrective action.
- Do reparation based on "Best Practices" 5’S and GMP
- Ensure job cards are completed accurately and submitted to head of department daily.
Processing
The effective execution of all maintenance and repairs to plant services, including:
UHT Production Processing plant
- Sterilisers and Aseptic tanks – Tetrapak
- Rotary mixing equipment – Tetrapak Almix
- Pasteurisers – milk processing
- In-line blending equipment
- Homogenisers - Tetrapak
- Separators
- CIP equipment
- Strong knowledge and experience on pumps and valves - maintenance & fault finding
- Overall very good understanding of above processes (operational) and technical support (maintenance and fault finding)
Packaging Millwright

UHT Production packaging/filling lines
- Tetrapak A3 Flex and Compact flex filling lines, including downstream equipment:
- Helix accumulator
- Capper
- Straw applicator
- Stretch/film wrapper
- Cardboard packer
- Barcode application equipment
