We are seeking a skilled PVC Inflatable Manufacturing Technician to join our busy production floor. You will be responsible for creating high-quality, heavy-duty industrial PVC fabric products. This role requires hands-on technical expertise in manual fabrication WITH A HEATGUN AND GLUE. Experience on inflatable boat repairs is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precision Fabrication: Layout, measure, and cut heavy-gauge PVC tarpaulin materials accurately based on design templates and technical drawings.
Highly Advantageous Skill:
- Thermal Welding: Set up, calibrate, and operate industrial hot-air welding machinery and hand-held heat guns to create airtight, watertight seams.
Adhesive Assembly:
- Chemically fuse PVC tarpaulin panels together using specialized industrial PVC glue
Product Manufacturing:
- Build diverse products including vehicle custom covers, truck side curtains, industrial tarps, and heavy-duty liners.
Job Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a dedicated PVC fabrication or industrial canvas manufacturing shop.
- Technical Skillset: Demonstrated mastery in using hand-held heat guns, PVC adhesives
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read measurements, use design diagrams, and calculate fabric optimization with minimal waste.
