To Assist the Employment Equity Unit with the creation of a corporate environment which will encourage the building of a staff complement, which is sufficiently representative of the diverse community, which it serves and which will possess the knowledge and skills needed by the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience: Qualifications required or equivalent or the successful completion of one of Rand water’s senior internal management development programmes or an honours equivalent will be an advantage.
- Matric coupled with a Human Resources Management qualification (or equivalent) is essential · Knowledge of disability Equity Management will be advantageous
- 3-5 years relevant Human Resources and /or Employment Equity experience is required · Experience in working with women development and gender mainstreaming
- Good Communication skills (verbal and written) · Good presentation skills
- Excellent mastering of an excel programme
- Ensure compliance with legislation in the fields of Employment Equity, Diversity and transformation · Assist in the establishment of non- racial and non sexist culture within the organisation
- Submit relevant statutory information to the Department of Labour
- Assist in monitoring corporate and site Employment Equity targets to ensure achievement of Numerical goals · Monitor a Disability Equity Implementation Plan as well as the Corporate Disability Forum
- Monitor the appointment of females and other designated groups in line with the organisational KPI.
