We are looking for a confident and results-driven Outbound B2B Appointment Setting Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for contacting businesses across South Africa from a qualified database, identifying opportunities, and securing appointments for our Business Development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to businesses across South Africa.
- Engage with key decision-makers and build rapport.
- Qualify prospects and identify potential business opportunities.
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions within the CRM.
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly appointment-setting targets.
- Follow up on leads where appropriate.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximise conversion opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an outbound B2B appointment setting or cold-calling role.
- Proven success in booking appointments for a business-to-business sales team.
- Excellent telephone communication and objection-handling skills.
- Professional, confident and persuasive communication style.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Computer literate with experience using CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work towards targets.
Advantageous
- Previous experience in the IT, technology, managed services, industry will be highly advantageous.
- Experience selling or setting appointments for technology-related products or services.
