About the Role

Stefanutti Stocks Construction (Namibia) is looking for an experienced Foreman (Earthworks) to join our Namibian operations. The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate site activities related to earthworks operations while ensuring safe, productive, and high-quality project execution.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Trade qualification or relevant construction-related qualification advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ experience in earthworks, roadworks, or civil construction environments at Foreman Level
Proven experience supervising construction teams, plant operators, and subcontractors
Sound understanding of earthworks activities, production targets, and construction equipment
Ability to read and interpret drawings and site instructions
Computer literacy advantageous
Valid driver’s license
Knowledge and Skills
Strong supervisory and team leadership skills
Good understanding of construction health and safety requirements
Ability to coordinate daily site activities and resources effectively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to motivate and manage teams on site
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily earthworks operations and construction activities on site
Coordinate labour, plant, equipment, and materials to achieve production targets
Ensure work is completed according to specifications, drawings, and quality standards
Monitor safety compliance and promote safe working practices on site
Conduct toolbox talks and daily team briefings
Report on progress, delays, incidents, and operational challenges
Liaise with Site Agents, Engineers, subcontractors, and project teams
Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline at all times
Assist with planning and scheduling of site activities
Monitor plant utilisation and productivity on site
