RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be responsible and accountable for the security of buildings and all the saleable and non-saleable assets within the branch
Supervise security/receiving staff of the branch
Check in deliveries, check discrepancies and make claims out accordingly
Check price changes and re-labelling of products accordingly
Processing all receiving paperwork
Stock integrations
Weekly checks on stock in transit report (internal transfers) and weekly stock takes
Checking and verifying all stock leaving the branch
Write-off and refund checks
Staff purchase checks
Security check list to be completed
Managing the cash box and cash safe
Involvement in perpetual stock takes
Weekly asset counts and checks
Locker, vehicle and staff searches
Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the company and to meet the company aim of high standards and high customer service
CRITERIA NEEDED:
1 year experience in Retail receiving
Supervisory experience
Reliable and honest
Confident
Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate (intermediate MS excel)
Must be self motivated, assertive and professional
Must be organised, efficient, with strong communication skills on all levels
Vigilant and alert with high energy levels
Clear credit and criminal history
