A reputable Medical Aid is seeking a Pre-Authorisation Consultant to join their Hospital Benefit Management team in Pretoria.
What will you be doing in this role?
- You will work in a Call Centre, answering calls on a daily basis and you will provide Members and/or Service Providers with Authorisation, for clinical procedures in hospital. (Training will be provided as you will confirm approved funding, as per the option benefits, Scheme protocols)
- Deliver effective Call Centre services in order to achieve Member satisfaction
- Reduce the risk associated with hospital and authorised cases
What do you require for this role?
1. Grade 12 / Matric
2. Ambulance Assistant (Qualification) with the HPCSA or an Enrolled Nurse Assistant (Qualification) with SANC
3. You need to be 100% Computer Literate as there will be no time for PC/Computer training
4. You have to be a South African born citizen
5. You need to have 5 years' experience working in a Clinical environment
6. You need to have good telephone etiquette and be comfortable speaking to Members and/or Service Providers
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: R1,00 - R2,00 per month
