A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their son aged 7 years old
Area: Kalk Bay
Ages: son aged 7 years old (has RYR1 syndrome - mostly wheelchair bound)
Working hours: Monday – Friday: 13h30 - 17h30
School holiday hours: not necessarily needed but will be confirmed prior to each holiday period
Duties: potentially collect from school but generally meet with him at home, attend physio sessions with him to learn the basic of what he needs to assist with exercises at home, supervising and assisting with homework, developing reading skills, ensuring he has a healthy after school snack / lunch,
Requirements: Dynamic, positive, intelligent
Start date: July 2026 start – permanent contract
Salary: R9000 - R11 000 per month (gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.95)
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
