Job Title: Store Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at the Blank Store in Menlyn. The ideal candidate will oversee all daily operations, including managing the sales team, handling inventory, driving store marketing efforts, and reporting to the back office. You will ensure that the store operates efficiently and that both customer and operational goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows and high customer satisfaction.
- Supervise the Sales Representatives, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support to meet sales targets.
- Maintain accurate inventory control, conduct stock checks, and manage product reordering to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Implement in-store marketing strategies, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Report daily sales, inventory levels, and other relevant metrics to the back-office team.
- Ensure compliance with store policies, including health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Conduct employee scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak times.
- Train new employees and ensure ongoing professional development of team members.
- Oversee store merchandising to maintain an attractive, organized, and on-brand shopping environment.
- Monitor financial performance, prepare sales reports, and analyze trends to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in inventory management and reporting software.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of in-store marketing techniques and sales strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Business Management/Retail Management or a related field
- Experience in a similar industry (fashion, apparel, or related retail).
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software.
