Purpose of the Job:
To support the department with effective management and resolution of queries received from multiple sources by acting as the primary point of contact of queries and information request regarding the financial sector regulation and FSCA services and processes, ensuring that all matters are addressed in line with the applicable protocols, standards, and processes established by the FSCA. The person appointed to this position will report directly to the Manager
Key Performance Areas:
- Receive and analyse queries received by the Department through various channels including walk-ins, and ensure resolution of such matters in accordance with applicable financial sector laws, regulations, and internal frameworks;
- Redirect matters that fall outside the scope of the department to relevant FSCA Departments;
- Refer matters that fall outside the scope of the FSCA to relevant external agencies;
- Engage relevant internal stakeholders to facilitate resolution of matters that require their input;
- Identify, analyse and report trends in respect of the queries received by the Department;
- Participate in the outreach programs conducted by the Department;
- Attend to administrative responsibilities of the Department as directed by the management team; and
- Participate in ad-hoc departmental or organisational projects and tasks allocated to by the Manager.

A bachelor’s degree in law or commerce with at least one year’s relevant experience of financial service industry or compliance management. A good understanding of the overall mandate of the FSCA and the various financial sector laws is required.
