We're seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse General Worker to join our team and take charge of stock control and inventory accuracy. We are based in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders
- Update inventory management systems in real-time
- Identify and report discrepancies or damaged goods
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout for efficiency
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in stock control
- Proficiency in using inventory management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with barcode scanners
Own reliable transport.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventories
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse settings
