ProStaffSelect are in search of an experienced and highly skilled SENIOR SOUS CHEF to assist with daily kitchen operations, overseeing food prep, managing staff, organising and controlling service, motivating staff, monitoring food quality, minimizing wastage and ensuring profitability.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 2 or 3 year recognized professional/classical/formal culinary qualification
Minimum 4 years industry work experience at leading establishments as a SOUS chef in a similar award-winning restaurant / 5* hotel environment
Culinary strengths in Hot and Cold Kitchen and managing the pass
Comfortable, outgoing and confident personality with good people skills & ability to motivate others
Able to take high pressure work environment with a busy team
Attention to detail is essential
Experience in controlling food cost and kitchen administration
Innovative and experienced with menu compilation and design
Good organizational, management and planning skills
Responsible for a total brigade of 18 chefs
