From our base in Middelburg, we deliver turnkey voice, data and infrastructure solutions — IT support, VoIP and PBX telephone systems, CCTV and security, solar and battery backup, networks, and HP-backed printer and copier solutions — to both home and business clients.
We're known as our clients' "ICT Superhero," and we're growing. We're looking for a Sales Manager to lead and build out our sales team while driving their own deals.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sales Manager is responsible for both personal sales performance and the leadership, coaching and growth of a team of Account Managers and Sales Associates. You'll own the sales pipeline, hold the team accountable to targets and reporting standards, and play a direct role in expanding Procom's recurring revenue and new business.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can sell and build a team — not a desk-only manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Account Managers and Sales Associates toward consistent target achievement
- Personally close new business and recurring (SLA) deals, carrying your own sales target alongside team responsibilities
- Own the weekly sales pipeline: accurate reporting, forecasting and follow-through
- Drive growth in recurring revenue products (connectivity, SLAs) across the whole team
- Maintain GP margin discipline and ensure deals meet profitability standards
- Recruit, onboard and retain strong sales talent as the team scales
- Build and maintain key client relationships across Procom's product range
- Report sales performance and forecasts directly to the Managing Director
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally in ICT, telecoms, office automation, connectivity or a related solutions-selling environment
- Previous experience managing or mentoring a sales team (formal or informal leadership both considered)
- Strong commercial sense — comfortable working with gross profit, margins and targets
- A genuine "hunter" who can open doors and close, while still developing others
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Disciplined with pipeline management and reporting
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Middelburg / Mpumalanga area
- Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification an advantage
