Position: Maintenance Manager
Location: Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa
Salary: R30,000 CTC
Kendrick Recruitment, on behalf of our esteemed client, is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Manager to join a leading hotel in Benoni, Gauteng. Our client, is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee and lead maintenance procedures, ensuring that facilities are always in good and safe condition and that all equipment is running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room Care Programme: Ensure the programme is pre-planned, budgeted, and managed effectively.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop an annual schedule and maintain all plant and machinery accordingly.
- Procurement: Place orders for maintenance requirements and repairs with prior approval from the General Manager/Financial Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Energy Management: Manage policies on power-saving globes, appliances, and best practices.
- Budget Management: Draw up the maintenance department budget, control expenditure, and provide monthly reports to the General Manager.
- Service Monitoring: Oversee the quality of services performed by outside contractors in line with lease agreements, service contracts, and warranties.
Requirements:
- Experience: Approximately 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager.
- Education: Matric, with a tertiary qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Mechanical fields as an added advantage.
