1. Job Purpose
- To oversee the Quality Approval of PPS AND BPS and carry out "in process" inspections on all production lines.
2. Key Duties
- Oversees quality checkers and reviews and suggests corrective action to address any issues identified
- Assess order failures to determine whether style should be repaired or scrapped
- Compiles, submits and presents reports on Daily/Weekly/Monthly basis as required by Factory Manager.
- Report back on staffing and individual performance.
- Report back on defective quality and returns relative to parameters set.
3. Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Matric level education (NQF4 or equivalent)
- Relevant Quality Assurance Certificate / Skills Programme preferred
- Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
- Leadership skills with the ability to drive and motivate performance through effective team work and interaction with departments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong listening, presentation and decision-making skills
- Self-starter – ability to work unsupervised, manage own time and activities
- Solid organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of industrial sewing machines – flat/double needle high post / double needle flat bed / multi needle / mock safety / coverseam / automatic pocket machine
Salary offered will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

Pay: R27,58 - R45,00 per hour
