International Next Flight Out Courier Company is looking for reliable, experienced On-Call Delivery Agents to support our urgent courier operations across South Africa. This role is ideal for individuals who can respond quickly, drive safely, and handle time-critical deliveries with professionalism in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver urgent courier consignments on short notice (on-call basis).
- Pick up and drop off parcels accurately within required time windows.
- Follow company procedures to ensure parcels are handled securely and delivered to the correct recipients.
- Communicate delivery status updates promptly (pickup confirmations, delivery confirmations, andexceptions).
- Support safe and efficient transport, including proper loading and route planning.
- Assist with airline tendering processes for parcels when required (including submitting/tenderingpackages according to airline requirements).
Minimum Requirements
Must have safe and reliable vehicle.
Proven experience in urgent courier services (must be able to demonstrate prior work in time-critical delivery environments).
- Familiarity with tendering packages with airlines (air freight/flight booking/tender requirements andrelated documentation).
- Safe driving experience (clean driving habits and ability to operate confidently under time pressure).
- Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call / standby setup and respond promptly to urgent dispatches.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and customer-focused service.
- Good communication skills in English (and/or relevant local languages is a plus).
Preferred Qualities
- Experience with courier workflows, documentation, and handover processes.
- Ability to manage routes efficiently and adapt quickly to traffic or unforeseen delays.
- Professional attitude and calm decision-making during urgent deliveries.
Working Environment
- 24/7 operations with on-call shifts and urgent dispatches requiring quick response.
Pay
- Above average pay, based on experience and confirmed capability in urgent courier delivery and airline tendering workflows.
