Operations / Factory Manager – Signage Industry

We are an established signage manufacturing company in the Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, employing approximately 30 staff. We are seeking an experienced Operations / Factory Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our factory.
Reporting directly to the Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for production, staff management, quality control, workflow, maintenance, health and safety, and overall operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring someone who can confidently manage the factory and ensure it operates smoothly in the Directors’ absence.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in manufacturing, signage, print, fabrication, construction, or a similar production environment.
* Experience managing teams of 30+ staff.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience with production planning, workflow management, quality control, and operational performance.
* Ability to drive accountability, productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven leader who takes ownership of the operation, ensures deadlines are met, maintains high production standards, and keeps the factory running efficiently with minimal oversight.
Pay: R13 567,49 - R30 000,00 per month
