LDP Chartered Accountants and Auditors is seeking a skilled Assistant Payroll Manager to join our dynamic and professional team in Stellenbosch. This is a permanent, full-day position. Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of outsourcing payroll experience on SAGE VIP and Simple Pay.
- Expertise in administering full payroll functions, including salaries, leave, and benefits.
- Experience with provident fund administration for Sanlam, Old Mutual, Momentum, Discovery, and CAMAF.
- Proficient in salary payments using Payaccsys.
- Strong understanding of PAYE, SARS requirements, and BCEA, EE, SDLA, Income Tax Act, COIDA, and related legislation.
Required Skills:
- Excellent reporting and technical knowledge of Income Tax, VAT, PAYE, and SARS regulations.
- Advanced computer literacy, with strong Excel skills.
- Adherence to business processes and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle challenging client demands and a fast-paced work environment.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with a focus on outcomes.
Willingness to work long and irregular hours, and travel when required (valid driver's license necessary).
