Welcome customers in a professional and friendly manner
Assist customers with product selection and provide accurate information about products and promotions
Support the sales process by helping customers find suitable items based on their needs
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently where required
Replenish stock on shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly and attractively
Monitor stock levels and report low, damaged, or missing stock to management
Keep the sales floor clean, organised, and presentable at all times
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and arranging incoming stock
Help prevent stock loss by following company procedures and maintaining awareness on the shop floor
Handle customer queries and refer more complex issues to senior staff when necessary
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and monthly sales targets
Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and operational guidelines
Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Good verbal communication skills
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong customer service approach
Ability to work well in a team
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
Able to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays if required
Physically able to stand for long periods and assist with moving stock when needed
Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience
Basic cashier or point-of-sale experience
Confidence in handling customer questions and resolving simple issues
Interest in building a long-term career in retail or sales
Customers receive helpful, friendly, and efficient service
Shelves and displays remain fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing
Sales transactions are handled accurately
The team consistently works together to achieve store goals
Daily store operations run smoothly and professionally
