Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate Project Engineer to join our NBL Isando Coffee and Creamer factory in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
In this role, you will responsible for assisting the Projects Department with the engineering planning and implementation of multiple projects within a manufacturing environment in order to effect capacity -enabling changes in the plants. A proven track record with handling the technical aspects of multiple projects concerning plant equipment is essential for success in this role. An added advantage will be the ability to manage multiple suppliers working on each individual projects.

Key Performance Areas:

Liaise with suppliers concerning the design and manufacture of equipment.

Installation of Capital Projects.
-
Ensure project installations meet the proposed requirements and standards for National Brands Limited.

Management of Contractors and internal resources.
-
Project progress reporting.
-
Ensuring project deadlines are met on time and within budget.
-
Co-ordinate the activities associated with the management of Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) in the department.

Ability to carry out project lifecycle, technical scopes and capital justifications.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in FMCG.
Qualifications:

Eng / BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
Additional Requirements:
-
Ability to work overtime.

Strong technical attributes in Mechanical Engineering.

Good understanding of electrical and civil engineering principles
-
Equipment installation experience.
-
Ability to work independently with structured feedback to the line manager.
-
MS Office, MS Projects and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
