We are seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and hard working South African Domestic Worker to join our household.
Requirements:
- South African citizen with a valid South African ID
- Middle-aged lady (preferred)
- Minimum 10 years' experience working in private homes
- Contactable references from previous employers
- Honest, reliable, punctual, and professional
- Physically fit and able to perform household duties.
Duties:
- General household cleaning
- Deep cleaning of the entire home
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe organisation.
- Making beds and changing linen.
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, windows, and appliances
- Preparing simple, healthy meals when required
- Operating household cleaning equipment, including: Vacuum cleaner, Steam cleaner, Carpet shampoo, Washing machine, Tumble dryer and Steam iron.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic home
- Reporting maintenance issues when identified
Skills:
- Excellent cleaning and ironing skills
- Experience with deep cleaning
- Ability to use modern household cleaning equipment
- Good time management and attention to detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Only applicants with a South African ID, at least 10 years of experience, and contactable references will be considered. Practical cleaning and ironing assessments will form part of the interview process.
