Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Compliance Assistant at Realty Assist in Bedfordview. The Compliance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, utilizing analytical skills, effective communication, and understanding Labour, and Managing agent industry.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Payroll Administration – generating payslips and providing a user-friendly self-service online portal for employees to request leave, make expenses claims, download payslips and IRP5 forms. We can also assist with deductions, maternity leave calculations and other payroll services.
- Secure, confidential and timely payroll distribution (electronically, hard copy or both).
- Ensuring SARS compliance through PAYE calculations and associated reference numbers.
- Bi-annual and annual SARS compliance submissions – including EMP201 and EMP501. This will ensure that your company remains in good standing and can apply for credit, government contracts &c.
- Registrations – company UIF, PAYE, VAT, business income tax, employee UIF etc. Save time on paperwork and focus on growing your business.
- CIPC – registrations, renewals and annual submissions – protect your company’s registered name and reputation by deterring copycats.
- CIPC amendments – change of Directors, company names, company year-ends, auditors etc. Keeping your vital records up-to-date.
- Monthly, bi-annual and annual tax submissions – PAYE, business income tax and more. Avoid interest payments and fines.
- COIDA (workman’s compensation) registration, returns and letters of good standing.
- Sectional Title and HOA specialised services:
- CSOS registrations and returns.
- SARS registrations, returns and amendments – income tax, PAYE, UIF, appointing / changing public officer etc.
Qualifications
- Regulatory Compliance and Analytical Skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Understanding Labour law and Finance
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in Managing Agent environment
