Job Overview
We are actively seeking motivated and passionate teachers to deliver engaging and interactive online math classes for children aged 5–12.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group online math lessons through the VIPtutor platform.
- Assess student learning progress and provide targeted feedback.
- Participate in various training and teaching research activities organized by the company to continuously enhance teaching skills.
Working Hours & Requirements
- Teaching hours: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM Beijing Time, which corresponds to 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM South African Standard Time (SAST).
- Minimum of 12 teaching sessions per week (40–50 minutes per session).
- Must be able to commit to teaching consistently for over one year (short-term or holiday-only positions are not accepted).
Qualifications
- Diploma or higher (Bachelor's degree or STEM-related majors preferred).
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, especially with children aged 5–12.
- Excellent English communication skills and strong logical thinking abilities.
- Self-motivated, tech-savvy, and capable of working independently.
Technical & Environment Requirements
- Desktop or laptop with clear camera and headset with microphone.
- System: Windows 10 or above, or Mac OS 10.15 or above.
- Hardware: Intel Core i5 or equivalent AMD CPU, ≥8GB RAM, ≥20GB free storage.
- Network: Upload & download speed ≥50Mbps, stable connection. Wired connection is preferred.
- Quiet, tidy, and professional teaching environment.
