* We are looking for candidates with outbound calling experience, this could be for one of the following: charity/fundraising calls, lead generation or appointment setting or sales calls.
* If you have some level of sales experience in business development, either via phone or face to face where you’ve been selling business to business, that would be seen as an advantage.
* You must have some sort of tertiary education, and corporate office experience.
* You must have a professional tone and good articulate communication skills.
* An excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal and an easily understood accent.
* You will need intermediate computer skills in terms of experience using CRM’s to log calls as well as typing speed of 20 to 40 words per minute.
YOU MUST STRICTLY MEET OR EXCEED ALL REQUIREMENTS - if not, do not apply.
You will need the following to be successful in this role:
* A quite professional home environment - meaning the phone calls need to sound like you are calling from a corporate office. I.e. no noisy flat mates, kids or barking dogs, we will be monitoring call recordings and if we can hear this sort of activity in the background we'll have to consider terminating your employment so please rather do not apply.
* If you have the above noisy challenges but you have a room/office that you can set up and close the door to have a quite environment that could work. Headset - you need a call center usb headset with noise cancellation (if you don't have one, we can recommend which one to buy for the role, this will help to block out background noise if you do occasionally have background noise, this is especially important if you have noise challenges, otherwise a normal USB headset with no noise cancelling would work with a quite environment esp. where you can close the door).
* You will need a home office setup - With a reliable computer/laptop, keyboard, mouse, desk and chair. You will have to download our call centre software on to your computer for click to dial calling via the internet you will need either a Windows operating system or you can use a Debian Linux operating system, but the software does not work with Mac/Apple.
* Fast Reliable Internet - you will need a minimum of 10 mbps upload and download speed, ideally higher, you will need a reliable and stable internet connection.
* You will be connecting to our server in Sydney, via your internet and making VOIP calls from our servers with local Australian numbers as if you were based in Australia, so once again a fast and reliable internet connection will be required, if you are used to experiencing slow loading issues, or drop outs, then please do not apply, it will not work.
* You will need to put in a minimum of 4 hours per shift during Australian 9am to 5pm hours, unfortunately this means that you will need to wake at 3am, to be ready to start your shift at 4am to finish at 8am, this will be our 1pm to 5pm here in Sydney.
* You will have to be sure that you do not have load shedding during these calling hours 4am to 8am, I would think not as most would be asleep.
PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS JOB APPLICATION VIA EMAIL ONLY - DO NOT CALL.
*** In your email application please send your resume as well as write a short paragraph or two as a cover letter outlining why you believe you would be a good candidate, or good fit, for this role based on your previous experience.***
