As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Wingmen Consulting, you will be a key player in driving our sales efforts and connecting with potential customers.
Tasks
As an SDR, your main responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Develop and implement strategies with the head of sales to attract potential buyers and solicit new customers through cold-calling, cold outreach, and responding to advertisement inquiries.
- Qualifying Leads: Utilize the BANT Framework to assess and prepare leads for the sales manager.
- Customer Engagement: Create and maintain relationships with customers to identify their needs, qualify their interests, and drive sales.
- Product Presentation: Present product information tailored to customer needs.
- Pipeline Management: Move leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them with salespersons and arranging follow-ups.
- Follow-up & Communication: Perform regular follow-ups with potential and existing customers to ensure satisfaction and identify new needs.
- Web Demos: Conduct web demos to showcase our services to potential customers.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Educational Background: High school diploma in business, training in sales techniques, marketing, and communication. An economics degree is advantageous.
- Experience: Professional experience in new customer acquisition, knowledge of complicated and long sales cycles, and procedures of complicated service sales.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Good time management and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in CRM care and objection handling.
- Industry knowledge in metal, automotive, service industries, or consulting.
- Language: Proficiency in English (C1 level). German (C2 level) is a plus.
- You are based in South of Africa or on the Philippines.
- Soft Skills: Empathic communication, negotiation, persuasion, presentation ability, and reliability.
- Personality Traits: We are looking for individuals who are a mix of Red and Blue or Blue and Red according to the DISC personality framework. This means you are driven, assertive, and results-oriented (Red), while also being analytical, detail-oriented, and systematic (Blue). You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can make data-driven decisions, and are committed to achieving excellence in every task you undertake.
