Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and passionate Sales Trainee to support our Regional Sales Manager. This role is ideal for a recent graduate eager to gain commercial experience in the specialty chemicals industry. The successful candidate will be motivated, growth-oriented, and committed to excellence. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, organizing meetings and events, managing correspondence, and handling documentation. Operational Coordination: Facilitate communication between our South Africa and Zambia offices. Customer Communication: Prepare and send customer information, quotes, and follow-up materials; ensure timely responses. Meeting and Event Coordination: Manage logistics and scheduling for meetings, events, and business lunches. General Administrative Assistance: Support various administrative tasks as needed for the Regional Sales Manager and the branch. Data Management: Input and update data into systems and databases with a focus on Microsoft Excel. Task Flexibility: Assist with diverse tasks including research, report preparation, and project support. Training and Development: Receive comprehensive training to develop skills in sales and business development with a path to a full-time role.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: No prior work experience required; designed for fresh graduates. Skills:o Strong organizational and administrative abilities.o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.o Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.o Basic familiarity with data management systems is a plus.o Willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
