POSITION: RETAIL MERCHANDISE CONTROLLER

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To ensure effective allocation of available stock to stores in line with the plan, optimising service levels, stock availability, and aligning with store and product attributes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Stock allocations from PEP Africa DC’s to new and existing stores
● Allocation of stock based on store needs and stock analysis
● Handling of store orders and queries
● Detailed store-level reporting
● Analysis of Store & Product performance
● Handling of customer stock queries
● Maintain service levels & standard deviation to agreed mandate
● New store stock management
● Ad hoc tasks and projects
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
● Grade 12 (Mathematics, Business Economics or Accounting)
● 2+ years’ experience in a similar role (i.e. Planning / Admin / Finance / Retail)
● Computer Literacy - Google Suite (Intermediate)
● Distribution Centre knowledge and/or retail experience will be an advantage
● South African Citizen
