You will join Deloitte Norway Risk Advisory, working remotely from South Africa, as a member of our IT and Specialized Assurance team.
As Senior Consultant your passion lies in improving business processes, systems and related controls in an everchanging IT landscape. An IT audit typically evaluates and reports on the procedures and control environment around the IT systems in place within an organization with a view to achieving more effective management of the risks to which the entity is exposed. We do so in the following ways:
-
We identify risks and weaknesses, thus enabling the definition of solutions for introducing controls over processes supported by IT.
-
We help organisations take advantage of new and innovative technologies and better manage their risks through advisory and managed services.
-
We advise on general IT controls and audit application controls within the area of IT audit and support financial auditing tasks.
-
We provide clients with assurance reports on several topics, including general IT controls in an outsourcing environment, application and process controls, protection of personal data, and the GDPR (e.g. ISAE 3402, ISAE 3000, SOC).
-
We support and transform internal audit functions to provide relevant and timely insights to Executive Management and the Board on a wide range of risks.
-
We work across functions within Deloitte to provide our clients with the right set of skills.
In your role as participating team lead you are the voice of the client. As Senior Consultant you are expected to give the client a heads-up for possible problems and then act as a sounding board to find solutions. At the same time, you will service and expand your personal network.
