Have at least a basic understanding of electrical / electronic equipment.
Requirements, skills and experience: Have at least a basic understanding of electrical / electronic equipment. Have at least a basic understanding of computers and operating systems. Be able to use a multi-meter. Be able to use a soldering iron. * Be able to solve basic technical problems.
NON-NEGOTIABLE : Must have contactable references and a valid Code 8 Driver's License.
Description of responsibilities: (Full training will be provided) Technical support, learn to use and turn on all machines, diagnose and repair. (Training will be provided) Learn to work with CO2 and Fiber lasers, CNCs and other interesting technology. Be part of a national support team and assist with after-hours support. Understand all parts related to Laser machines / Fiber engravers / CNC machines / Color printing machines and any other interesting machines that we offer in the future.
Provide administrative support to the branch when required, helping the branch manager to manage all clients, business activities, deliveries, calls, client and office reminders. Show enthusiasm and energy that befits a dynamic sales and technical team. Stay up to date on all new product enhancements and ensure you are on the relevant Skype technical groups. Ensure all demonstration stock in the branch is working. Daily use of the internal CSP system – ensure you upload all technical reports / signed service cards and installations onto the system. Continuously expand your product and business knowledge. Learn as much as possible about the machines and add interesting articles to the CSP. Make it your business to understand our competitors' offerings and provide feedback to Head Office. You must be able to give demonstrations to clients on all machines in the branch.
Applicant must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.
