Scope of Position
The ideal candidate brings a passion for young talent and campus recruitment. Success in the role will require excellent administrative ability coupled with strong attention to detail and a desire to simplify and streamline.
Functional Tasks
- Full cycle recruitment for graduate, bursar and intern requirements.
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation relevant to recruitment in the countries you support.
- Scheduling interviews, briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews.
- Manage recruitment projects, pipeline critical resources with assistance and guidance from Talent Acquisition Specialists (TAS).
- Creating offers and maintaining timely documentation of all conversations with candidates within our internal database.
- Supporting the development of position descriptions, and prepare recruitment advertisements.
- Involvement in adhoc projects.
- Coordinate and attend career fairs and other recruitment events.
- Assist colleagues as necessary during high workloads or specific project needs.
- Participate in Global Talent Acquisition Practice.
- Bursar Programme Management
- Act as the first point of contact for bursars.
- Bursary payment administration (allowances and fees).
- Open bursar files.
- Manage bursar onboarding.
- Manage bursar master data.
- Booking of accommodation and flights as appropriate.
- All administration related to bursary programme.
- Coordinate vacation work programmes.
- Assist with Graduate and Intern onboarding.
- Analysis and Reporting as required.
Preferred Experience / Education
The following indicates specific industry, academic and functional experience/qualifications that are important to the successful achievement of the identified responsibilities and performance deliverables.
Appropriate Tertiary Qualification
- Experience of recruitment in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Between 2 to 5 years of experience in recruitment administration.
- Atleast 2 years of experience in bursary management.
- 2 years of experience in a full cycle recruiting role.
- Atleast 2 years of experience in the project engineering industry.
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and Word Proficiency.
- Must be available to work on flexible work schedule and be able to travel nationally.
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of E-Recruiting systems and principles and the discipline to use them.
- Skilled in soliciting input and proactively evaluating business and candidate needs.
- Ability to accurately and articulately document information.
- Knowledge of HR and Talent Management theories, workforce planning, best practices related regulations, legislations and trends.
- Good working knowledge of E-Recruiting systems and principles and the discipline to use them (LinkedIn Recruiter, Internet Recruitment, X-ray search and advanced MS Office).
- Experience in social media, employment branding and selection.
- Experience with SuccessFactors recruitment ATS.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams; share responsibility for results, provide and accept feedback.
