Job requirements:
Honours degree and be pursuing a Master’s qualification, or hold a Master’s degree and be pursuing a Doctoral qualification, in the field of Microbiology.
Duties:
- Assess student tests and examinations in line with approved marking schemes.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to enhance student learning and development.
- Ensure fairness and consistency by participating in moderation and standardization processes.
- Record marks accurately and within required deadlines.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively.
- Uphold confidentiality and academic integrity, including identifying potential misconduct.
- Collaborate with lecturers, course coordinators, and fellow markers to ensure quality assurance.
