Admin Assistant
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the company. This role involves processing and capturing orders, managing customer inquiries, coordinating with logistics, and overseeing stock management. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will handle returns, repairs, and replacements while providing exceptional customer service and correspondence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receive, process, and capture orders daily on the sales system.
· Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally.
· Provide customers with timely information on product availability and lead times.
· Coordinate with the logistics department and external couriers for packing and shipping.
· Manage stock levels between the factory and showrooms to ensure availability.
· Oversee returns, repairs, and replacements, ensuring timely resolution.
· Perform additional tasks related to the role as needed.
· Maintain exceptional customer care and correspondence standards.
Skills and Competencies:
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and suppliers.
· Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other relevant computer skills.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are advantageous.
Experience
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales administration or a similar role.
· Proven experience in customer service and support
Education Required:
· Matric (Grade 12 or equivalent).
