Junior Draughtsman/ In Service Trainee (Technical Design/Draughting) – Paarl, Western Cape

An ideal opportunity, for a junior draughtsman, with an established joinery company. In service training to be provided.
Overview
- Compile detailed production/manufacturing drawings.
- 3D rendering of basic designs.
- Review and update of drawings.
- Provide technical support to departmental managers.
Minimum requirements
· Formal qualification: National Diploma or studies completed in Industrial Design / Draughting.
· Sound applied skills in either Auto CAD and SketchUp is essential.
· Experience in and exposure to a manufacturing / production work environment will be advantageous.
· Ability to focus on detail and achieving goals, deliver quality work at speed and meet deadlines.
· Should be provisioned in MS Excel and MS Word (preferably intermediate level).
· Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English with excellent communication skills.
· Hold an accredited and valid South African driver's license.
· Passion for draughting, organized and willing to learn.
Remuneration: Monthly remuneration, to be market related.
