Electrician – Electro-Mechanical Maintenance
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join their technical team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in electro-mechanical repairs, installations, and maintenance
- Proven experience working on industrial electrical and electro-mechanical systems
- Experience within power generation, construction, industrial, or engineering environments will be advantageous
- Sound knowledge of electrical fault finding, preventative maintenance, and equipment troubleshooting

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
- Ability to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
- Sound understanding of electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Knowledge of plant safety procedures and compliance standards
- Ability to conduct preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient in maintenance reporting and job card completion
