National & International Patio Umbrella Manufacturer is looking for a Welder in Airport City, Cape Town.
Job Title: Welder
At least 1 - 2 years’ experience
Permanent Position
Salary Negotiable
Start as soon as possible
Perform basic cutting, grinding and welding operations.
Preparation for welding operations.
Preform specialized flux core welding on components in a fabrication environment.
Clean and maintain facilities and equipment.
Maintain a safe and orderly workplace.
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Must be able to Weld:
- Mig & Tig Welders
- Stainless Steel
- Mild Steel
- Aluminum
Minimum Qualifying Criteria:
Grade12
Must be in position of a qualified welder trade certificate.
Must be familiarized with the Flux core welding producers.
Must be able to be trained and obtain coded welding certification in the applicable welding procedures.
Hot work certification.
Ability to follow instructions and function under pressure and without direct supervision
