MBT Auto is looking for a Skilled, detail-orientated Painter to join our automotive workshop in Hartbeespoort, North West, South Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle panels and surface for painting (sanding, masking and priming)
- Mix and match paint colours accurately
- Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using spray-painting equipment
- Perform high-quality refinishing and touch-up work
- Inspect completed work to ensure a flawless finish
- Follow all health and safety environment procedures
Requirements
- At least 3 years proven experience as an automotive spray painter
- Excellent colour matching skills and paint application skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Relevant automotive spray-painting qualifications or trade certificate
- Strictly 3–5-year experience
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage
