Junior Insurance Litigation Secretary - Large Firm - Sandton
Our client, a Global Law firm based in Sandton, has an opportunity for a Junior Litigation Secretary. In this role, you will provide administrative support to and assist attorneys in managing caseloads, preparing legal documents, and maintaining communication with clients and other parties involved in litigation matters.
Key performance areas
- Effective diary management.
- Monitor and attend to debtors’ books on a regular basis.
- Draw an age analysis report on a regular basis.
- Assist team members by regularly and accurately capturing time.
- Proactively monitor unbilled time on a monthly basis and address queries with the relevant associates and/or directors.
- Provide administrative support to the practice area's Business Development function.
- Assist with the compilation of presentations, bid and tender documents.
- Ensure that client contact lists are up-to-date at all times, including InterAction.
- Provide an effective office management and administrative support function.
Qualifications and Experience
- Grade 12.
- A relevant secretarial qualification would be an advantage.
- Excellent dictaphone typing.
- Minimum of 2-5 years legal secretarial.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office (i.e., MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
