Brief description
The main purpose of this position is to perform hands-on technical support, administer and maintain endpoint security technologies and solutions for the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Group.
Detailed description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
- Administer and maintain endpoint security technologies by performing daily health checks.
- Provide first-level support on cybersecurity solutions to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose problems and choose and/or modify routines to deal with them, displaying the ability to provide solutions or approaches for problems within a defined context.
- Facilitate the regular review of technical configuration documentation and maintain back-ups of technical configurations.
- Coordinate the activities related to service requests and incidents to ensure their timeous resolution.
- Provide regular reports and status updates (daily, weekly and monthly, as defined) to the team leader and members of the broader team.
- Manage relationships with all stakeholders, role players and service providers to ensure commitment to a common goal.
- Define own work plan and deliverables with guidance from the team leader.
- Perform work independently within established practices, processes, rules and regulations.
- Proactively broaden knowledge of functional area, display a willingness to make improvements in own work and address task-specific learning needs and relevant certification requirements.
