Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid code 10 License with valid PDP
- Older than 25 years
- Must have own vehicle
- Must have valid passport or be able to obtain one
- Must have had PDP and driving code 10 vehicle experience for minimum of 5 years
- Able to communicate and motivate via written media
- Availability to work alone and to be self motivated
- Availability to work outside of normal working hours
- Valid truck mounted crane license and forklift license up to 3500kg
- Appointments will be made in accordance with the company's employment equity
Job Functions
- To ensure that the RDT stock is checked, loaded, secured, and delivered in accordance with the contractual agreements, whilst maintaining Namlog's policies and procedures.
- Day to day activities including checking, loading, securing and delivering of goods.
- Deliver the correct goods at the right time at the right place and in the same condition as supplied.
- Ensuring that all SOP's are adhered to regarding checking, loading, securing and delivering of goods.
- Ensure all SOP's in terms of vehicles are adhered to.
- Ensure road rules and law of the land is abided by.
- Ensure vehicle crane operating SOP's are adhered to.
- Ensure customer signs and stamps delivery note on delivery of goods.
- Ensure scanning delivery note onto PDA and sync for POD to be available immediately after delivery.
- Ensure debriefing is attended at end of every trip or first available working hour of shift thereafter.
- Ensuring that the image and neatness of the site is according to required standards, inclusive of vehicles and subordinates.
- Communicate exceptions and problems to the RDT Manager.
- Respond to all client queries timeously and to notify management of any issues raised by the customer.
