We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our team.
Key Requirements
- Proficient in SolidWorks(essential), as well as AutoCAD and Aspire CAM software.
- Extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with 3-axis CNC machines.
- Strong ability to program CNC machines efficiently and accurately, including both 2D and 3D toolpaths.
- Excellent understanding of machining processes, tooling, and material selection.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operation of the CNC machine.
- Program CNC machines to ensure efficient and accurate production.
- Create and optimise 2D and 3D toolpaths for a variety of components.
- Ensure materials are ordered and available when required to maintain production schedules.
- Supervise CNC operators and manage their daily workflow.
- Produce accurate technical drawings and documentation as required.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in all CNC-related activities.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
Ideal Candidate
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Able to manage time, priorities, and teams effectively.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Previous experience in the marine or manufacturing industry will be advantageous.
