Role Overview
LND Guest House is seeking a dedicated and organized Stay-in Guesthouse Administrator in Parklands North. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations, guest relations, and back-office administration of the property.
Key Responsibilities
Reservations & Guest Relations
- Facilitate, follow up, and maintain all guest reservations.
- Maintain and update the guesthouse profile on Booking.com, including rate adjustments and availability.
- Professionally handle inquiries via email, telephone, walk-ins, and Booking.com platforms.
- Maintain an accurate and secure database of all past and current guests
Financial & General Admin
- Generate accurate customer invoices
- Verify and reconcile customer payments and deposits.
- Compile regular administrative reports for management review.
Operations & Maintenance
- Conduct regular stock takes and manage inventory for linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
- Identify and report maintenance requirements to the Guesthouse Manager to ensure facility standards are met.
- Utilize housekeeping experience to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of housekeeping experience within the hotel/hospitality industry.
- High level of computer literacy; or similar Property Management Systems (PMS) is an advantage.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and a professional demeanor.
Residency: Must be willing to live on-site (Stay-in position)
