Statutory - Company Secretary Officer - Listed Company - Sandton
Our client, a listed company based in Sandton, is looking for a Statutory Officer to join their organization. The ideal candidate should have excellent minute-taking experience.
Required functional outputs:
- Assist with the updating of all local and foreign statutory records.
- Maintain an updated organogram of the Group’s legal entities.
- Assist the Board Support manager with taking minutes of Board and Committees.
- Update Board and divisional board minute books.
- Provide ad-hoc governance support as and when required.
- Organise, prepare agendas and attend meetings, take and distribute minutes, formulate decision matrixes and attend to action plans.
- Deal with correspondence, collating information and writing reports to ensure that decisions made are communicated to the relevant stakeholders.
- Schedule meetings in accordance with annual company work plans.
- Understand the interrelations of all companies and regions.
Qualifications and expertise required
- Company Secretary Certificate.
- Certificate in Advanced Minute Taking.
- 5 – 8 years work experience in a statutory environment.
- Tertiary qualification will be beneficial.
- Computer literacy essential.
- Working knowledge of corporate process.

Salary: Between R35 000- R45 000
