The purpose of the position is to assist the Group HR Department with various coordination and administrative tasks; including Employment Equity, Skills Development, Recruitment, general HR Admin and HRIS maintenance.
- Diploma/Degree in HR or similar
- At least 5 years relevant experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Own transport and valid driver’s licence.
- Wiling to travel.
- Knowledge of and practical recruitment experience
- Knowledge of Seta procedures & requirements
- Knowledge of the Skills development & EE act
- Advanced general computer literacy (MS Office, etc)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience working on the Sage 300 People system
- Experience working with Recruitment systems (e.g. Neptune; PNET, etc)
- Analytical and detail orientated
- Deadline driven
Employment Equity
- Coordinate document management on Teams for EE &SD submissions
- Coordinate EE Committee documents for Meetings (e.g. EE calculator)
- Conducting of interim internal audits to determine compliance and short comings with regards to EEA requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to employees regarding compliance matters
- Coordinate & monitor EE awareness training to all stakeholders
- Provide reports and documentation to regulatory authorities (BCEA/EE audits)
Skills Development
- Conduct interim internal audits to determine compliance and short comings with regards to SD requirements.
- Monthly data integrity checks of training data on the HRIS
- Coordinate and consolidate SD reports for monthly/annual submissions

Learnerships
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process (e.g. advertisements; interviews, regrets, etc)

Recruitment & Selection
- General maintenance of the group recruitment system
- Ensure data integrity and compliance of vacancies published on the system
- Distribution of advertisements.
- System training of HR staff.
- Drafting and updating of system training material
- Maintain recruitment supplier database
- Assist with recruitment for Shared Services
- Monitor group vacancies that are vacant for prolonged periods and assist Divisional HR where required.
HRIS (Sage 300, ESS, Document Management, Recruitment, QMS, etc)
- Assist with the rollout of new modules
- Assist with the training of new users.
- Assist with refresher training for current users
- Monitor data integrity of the HRIS and liaise with Divisional HR departments to ensure compliance.
HR Administration & Reporting
- HR administration for the Shared Services Department. (E.g. payroll input, terminations, confirmation of employment, filing, bursaries, training coordination, etc)
- HR reporting (ad hoc.)
