Relevant Tertiary qualification is preferable eg. purchasing / business management, consumer market and/or marketing management
5 to 10 years of Senior Management experience, across various merchandise departments
Proven experience in a senior buying role within the retail sector, ideally with a focus on value retail.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving results.
Excellent negotiation skills and a keen eye for market trends and opportunities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and strategic planning.
