Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily receiving / dispatching of deliveries
- Stock count on daily base
- General laboring tasks within the department
- General maintenance
- Cleanliness of work environment
- Ensure that all paperwork for deliveries is complete and recorded accurately
- Ensure that delivered material is correct and in accordance with the invoices
- Check for defects and faults on all material and then report on such
- Ensure that delivered stock is labeled and placed in the correct location
- Ensure that all tasks/ deliveries are done in accordance with the SOP
- Packing of parts in the designated areas in the store
- Picking of parts that is required for the different departments within Afrit and external customer on a daily basis.
- Processing of picking slips on Syspro (allocation and shipping of items for picking and invoicing).
- Assist with stock takes
- Continuous location inspection to ensure that parts are in their dedicated areas
- Any reasonable request from management
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are fully understood and maintained
- Housekeeping
- Movement of parts by forklift as and when required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Matric (essential)
Tertiary qualification (beneficial)
Computer Literacy in MS Office (essential)
Valid Forklift license
Must have previous relevant experience in warehousing/store management.
Computer Literacy in MS Office (beneficial)
