We are seeking an experienced and professional Human Resources (HR) Consultant to provide ongoing HR support to our business on a part-time, retainer basis. This role is ideal for an independent HR professional who can confidently manage a broad range of HR functions while partnering with management to ensure best HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process.
- Develop, review, and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Support training, development, and performance initiatives.
- Advise management on HR strategies and people-related matters.
- Assist with organisational development and workforce planning as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of proven Human Resources experience.
- Relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
