We are looking for a driven IT Hardware Sales Consultant to join an established computer and technology retailer based in Randburg.
The role involves assisting walk-in, phone and online customers with product recommendations, quotations and sales. You will be selling products such as laptops, desktops, gaming PCs, monitors, printers, computer components, accessories and related IT hardware.
We are looking for someone who can think quickly, communicate clearly and build trust with customers. The ideal candidate must be comfortable explaining products, comparing options and helping customers choose the right solution for their needs.
This position is best suited to someone who already has experience in computer sales, tech retail, IT hardware, electronics sales or someone with a strong personal interest in computers and technology.
Responsibilities
Assist customers with laptop, desktop, component and accessory sales.
Prepare quotes and follow up with customers.
Recommend the correct products based on customer needs and budget.
Handle walk-in, phone and online enquiries.
Keep up to date with current tech products and pricing.
Work with the team to reach sales targets.
Provide good after-sales support and customer service.
Requirements
Previous sales experience is required.
Experience in IT hardware, computer retail, electronics, gaming PCs or tech products is strongly preferred.
Must be confident speaking to customers.
Must be able to learn product information quickly.
Must be reliable, punctual and professional.
Must be able to work in Randburg.
Computer knowledge is important. You do not need to know everything, but you must be willing and able to learn fast.
Advantageous
Experience selling laptops, desktops, PC components, printers or accessories.
Knowledge of gaming PCs, graphics cards, processors, RAM, SSDs and monitors.
Experience with quotations, invoicing or POS systems.
What we are looking for
