We are hiring an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to manage customer care for our multi-brand dealership in Rustenburg, North West.
Job Overview: We are looking for a high-energy, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced service department. You will serve as the primary link between our customers and our technical team, managing repairs for a diverse line-up of passenger cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles.
Core Responsibilities
- Customer Intake: Greet customers professionally, verify data, and accurately document vehicle concerns.
- Multi-Brand Consulting: Advise customers across passenger cars, rugged off-roaders, EVs, and commercial trucks.
- System Management: Use shop software to log service history, create repair orders, and book schedules.
- Technical Translation: Convert complex mechanical diagnostics into clear, understandable repair solutions for customers.
- Estimating & Work Orders: Build precise estimates detailing labor costs, parts availability, and timeline expectations.
- Upselling & Maintenance Advice: Educate vehicle owners on factory maintenance schedules, fluid life cycles, and safety repairs.
- Workflow Management: Coordinate with the parts department and shop foreman to meet promised completion times.
- Conflict Resolution: Address customer complaints diplomatically to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Technical and Experience Specifications
- Brand Familiarity: Experience or familiarity with our brand portfolio, including Jeep, Opel, Citroën, Peugeot, Fiat, Mahindra, iCaur, Leap, and PowerStar Trucks.
- Software Competency: Direct hands-on knowledge of CMS, Evolve, and standard workshop booking systems.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years working as a Service Advisor or Assistant Service Advisor in a dealership environment.
- Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to test and move customer vehicles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
