They take great pride in our beautifully landscaped gardens, which play a crucial role in enhancing their guests' experiences. We are seeking a talented and dedicated Gardens Coordinator to oversee and maintain the pristine condition of gardens across properties.
Position Overview: As the Gardens Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the landscaping and horticultural needs of our luxury hotel properties. Your role will involve overseeing garden maintenance, coordinating with external contractors and landscape architects, and ensuring that the gardens reflect the highest standards of beauty and care. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for creating and maintaining lush, aesthetically pleasing garden environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Garden Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of gardens across multiple hotel properties. Ensure that all landscaping is performed to the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.

Coordination: Work closely with landscape contractors, garden designers, and horticultural experts to plan and implement garden projects, seasonal changes, and improvements.

Team Supervision: Manage and lead a team of garden staff, including gardeners and maintenance personnel. Provide training and guidance to ensure efficient and effective garden upkeep.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the garden maintenance budget. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective solutions for garden care and projects.

Plant Health: Monitor the health and condition of plants, trees, and other garden features. Implement pest control and disease management practices as needed.

Guest Experience: Ensure that the gardens provide a pleasant and welcoming environment for guests. Address any issues or concerns related to garden appearance and maintenance promptly.

Seasonal Planning: Plan and execute seasonal plantings and garden enhancements to ensure that the gardens are attractive year-round.

Reporting: Prepare regular reports on garden status, maintenance activities, and budget expenditures. Provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
Qualifications:

Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in garden management or landscaping, preferably in a luxury or hospitality setting. Experience coordinating multiple properties is a plus.

Skills: Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design, and garden maintenance techniques. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education: Degree or certification in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
